Marvellous May Read-a-thon

During May, Kindy – Year 2 are encouraged to read or have someone read to them as many books as possible.
Years 3 – 6 are encouraged to read or have someone read to them for as long as possible.
Students are reminded to fill out the recording sheets and return them to school by 1st June. (Extra recording sheets are available from classroom teachers and at the office)
There are plenty of awesome prizes available and all students who take part will receive a book mark.
Students are reminded that during May, they are able to change books in the library as often as they like.
What are you waiting for? Have fun and GET READING!

National Walk Safely To School Day – 19 May 2023

National Walk Safely to School Day is a great initiative designed to raise awareness about the many benefits regular walking can bring, not only on this day but every day. If you decide to walk to school, please ensure that you do so safely.

P&C Rollerdrome Event – 19 May 2023

All students of East Beechboro Primary School are invited to attend an afternoon of fun at the Morley Rollerdrome.
When: Friday 19th May 2023
Where: Morley Rollerdrome (95 Catherine Street, Morley)
Entry Fee: $12
Skate/Blade Hire: $3.00
Please do not send payment to school. All payment is to be made at the venue.

Kaboom Percussion Incursion – 22 May 2023

Kaboom Percussion come to visit our school and entertain all our students with a free incursion on Monday 22nd May. This is an interactive performance where students explore the science of sound and the different ways to create music.

Wacky Hair Day – 2 June 2023

Year 6 students will be hosting a Wacky Hair fundraiser on Friday 2nd June.

For a gold coin donation, all students are invited to come to school with a creative hair style on the day.

All funds raised will go towards Year 6 Leavers end of year activities.
